We currently have exceptional opportunities for engineering professionals to join us at our Walnut Creek campus. This 572-bed medical center serves as Contra Costa County's only designated trauma center.

Chief Engineer

You will plan and report on plant operations within the Medical Center's facilities, serving in a leading role in ensuring that our medical center operates safely and efficiently. Key areas of responsibility include planning maintenance activities and implementing ongoing preventive maintenance routines for specific buildings and large plant equipment. To take on this assignment, you must have 3-5 years of management experience within a plant engineering department in a medical/healthcare facility. The position requires a proven track record in safety, customer service and teamwork. CFC Type II License or greater also required.

Assistant Chief Engineer

You will make a key contribution to the success of our Plant Services department by planning and reporting on Plant Operations within the Medical Center's facilities. Key areas of responsibility will include planning maintenance activities and implementing ongoing preventive maintenance routines for specific buildings and large plant equipment. This individual is directly responsible for Plant Operations through personal and staff results. Assures patient safety, privacy and confidentiality and considers age specific issues as appropriate or required.
